The contact owns a 2013 Toyota Corolla equipped with bridgestone turanza el400-02 tires, size: p205/55r16. While driving 65 mph, the vehicle began to drive like one of the tires was flat. Suddenly, the rear passenger tire detached from the vehicle and the tire pressure indicator illuminated. The contact stated that she had to constantly place air in the tires. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic (dracut tire shop, inc. , 1269 lakeview Ave, dracut, MA 01826 (978) 957-0782), but was not diagnosed. All four tires were replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that no recall was associated with the VIN. The dot number was unavailable. The approximate tire and vehicle failure mileage was 14,000.
We bought two new cars and these tires were standard equipment on both of them. We had two blowouts in less than two months. Both set of tires covered 3500/2117 miles respectively. Tires valves were checked one set of tires is losing pressure constantly. My next step is to file complaint with NHTSA to trigger a investigation. My advice is if you had issues with these tires is to file a complaint with NHTSA to prevent any body from getting injured.

My vehicle stalled out on me while I was driving and was almost hit as a result. After many attempts to find the cause, the final answer was the fuel pump, $2900 later. I just heard about the recall and to my surprise my vehicle was not listed for the fuel pump recall. Toyota service replaced the fuel pump but I'm not sure they did it correctly because I am still having the same issues. I've owned 4 Corollas but this one I've had to put the most money in because of issues I've never had to deal with prior.
Front windshield distortes the drivers vision. Windshield appears to have a wave or wavy effect to drivers vision while moving on highway or city streets or stationary or turning.
Front bumper/grill area paint not adhering to front area factory color blizzard pearl white. This area is the factory original paint. No history of damage or repaint. Airbag recall?.
My car had issues completely shutting down on me while I was driving which was very dangerous my abs light and steering light would come on each time it shuts down and I wasn’t able to use my power locks lights I couldn’t move it out of park or nothing those were the only two lights the was still able to start up just couldn’t move or use any buttons my keypad wasn’t working so that indicated that it was an electrical issue so I thought it was my battery even though the light wasn’t on for the battery I had my battery tested and the code came back and said I needed an alternator so I had my alternator tested and it works perfectly fine so then I checked the fuse box and it was burned up so that was my whole issue.
After another driver failed to yield right-of-way, I experience a fault with the automated driving assist system which during a merge of two highways in California; and failure of road structures allowed an older passenger truck to hit the Toyota's driver's rear tire and wheel well at a high rate of speed without evasive, defensive or warning from the 2020 Corolla hybrids.
The windshield suddenly darkened from the top to about halfway down ( right in your line of vision). This happened at night , including during a rainstorm. It feels like you are driving in a dark cave or a place where your visibility is hindered. It appears that the tinting of the windshield is too dark. This only happened when the vehicle was in motion.
I had a nika supercharger tire on drivers front inside tread/ sidewall separation I checked the front passenger and rear passenger tires, and they are also separating the same way and in the same place. The tires are barely two years old and were not worn out. Something is wrong with these tires. I was lucky I had not got on the interstate yet when the tire failed. Tire size 215/45/r17-91w xl these tires are not Toyota supplied tires and were on the car at time of purchase. They are the proper size for the car however.
