Twilight gasket leak into the trunk has been a regular problem going back with the Impala and Malibu. Seek out you tube videos showing the solution. I did not take it to dealer because they seem unknowledgeable about how to fix it. The you tube video will give the correct part number for the 10mm thick tail light gaskets. Do not use the OEM 6 mm thick gasket. A waste of effort.

I bought a 2019 Chevy Impala Premier with 45,000 miles. It's been garage kept since April, I've driven it about 10 times due to owning a Wrangler and it's summer! But I noticed the passenger mirror driver assist light would flash on and off inconsistently and sometimes it would stay on for no reason and then it wouldn't work (not showing a car when there was one). I took it to the dealer I bought it from who took it to their sister Chevy dealer and said there was nothing wrong with it. It has been throwing the driver assist off on its own. I knew it wasn't throwing a code. I took it closer to home and the Chevy dealer told me today they've never seen this and not sure what's going to happen. I hope warranty covers this. I plan on using this to commute to work (I'm an educator) and will be driving interstate. While I use my mirrors responsibly, this car has a lot of BLIND SPOTS, but I am short too so that could be a problem. This car is fun to drive and have had no other problems with it (hope I won't after this).
When I purchased the car 31 Jan 2018 I had problems with all three USB ports. The dealer found all three defective and replaced them ( they had my car for a week). I still have programing problems with both my IPODS The music will skip once in awhile on both my iPods. One iPod stops after every song, I have to hit replay and then fast forward to play the next song or hit ff and skip to next song which will play but iPod will stop again when song is over. The car changes playlists on the other iPod all by itself, also skips the music and sometimes turns the iPod off and I have to reboot it to to restart. This is very frustrating and dangerous to have to deal with while driving. Both IPODS work fine in any other vehicle or unit I try them in including my 2015 Equinox. If I connect them to my Impala with the direct play stereo cord (not USB) there are no problems except there is no artist or song display on the touch screen. This is the BOSE upgrade 11 speaker stereo that I paid a premium for and to have to deal with this crap is very maddening and EXTREMELY DANGEROUS WHILE DRIVING !
I cannot charge my cell phone from the USB outlets in the center console. Maybe once I was able to get a charge, but I do not know what settings I had of various controls. I had to buy a cigarette lighter USB charger. It works OK.
The front bottom of the gear shift handle pinches my finger every time I use the gear shift lever. I noticed this the first time I used the gear shift handle. I mentioned it to the salesman.
I saw on this website, someone else had the same problem in the same car. The stereo just shuts off and the touch screen goes dark. Also sometimes, usually just after I start the vehicle, The radio will be on, but I am not able to change the volume, or the station, or anything, but then few minutes later it will just happen.
Dealer moved brake lines, re-centered engine, no help. Service manager drove three more new LTZ's upon my request and stated they all had same problem. Blamed it on engine firing sequence. Sent something to GM, however have not heard back. Maybe on list of options they should add 'hand massage'. Now have 850 miles, not any better.
2015 Chevrolet Impala uses nearly 1qt. oil every 1500 miles. Dealership stated this isn't excessive.
impala uses 1/2 quart oil every 1500 miles. Dealer said normal use of oli!
