harsh shifting, jumping from gear-to-gear, sluggish acceleration and transmission/electronic control module failure. called toyota regarding the extended warrenty. they refused to honor the extended warranty despite not providing notice to the correct address.

Vehicle was taken in for a oil change. At check-in I was told that I would be given a rental vehicle due to the overhead rails recall, leaking inside the vehicles at that time I advised of a gas smell which I have been smelling for several years and it was getting stronger. I was told that there was something wrong with the fuel pump and it would need to be replaced and they would also be replacing rails from the top of my vehicle because there was water leaks inside my car, I advised that water has been leaking in my car for several years and clips were already placedbout two years ago. Several days later I received a phone call that my vehicle was ready to pick up when I got there I was informed that the fuel pump assembly was replaced and intake. Manifest gasket , throttle gasket , fuel pump gasket replaced egr valve replaced egr inlet gasket replaced egr valve. Ad gasket replaced egr cooler gasket replaced. I was also told that my air filters would need to be changed and I did consent to my air filters, the air element and a brake system flush as recommended after picking up my vehicle which had 34033 miles on it on 1/24/24. On 2/10 I was driving and a warning flashed on my car and spoke to me it said that there was a malfunction detected in the engine, transmission or throttle of the vehicle and I need to contact Toyota. I was two miles away and drove directly to them. They took the vehicle for several hours. I was told it was the alternator because my lights have been going dim and very bright. I advised that I have issues with the windows closing since the most recent repair as well and the vehicle is losing power. After almost 4 hours I was informed it a thermostat. Everyone had gone home and they could not give me a give me a rental so I had to drive this vehicle until Monday afternoon. The thermostat and gasket were replaced and I was charged because they used insurance without telling me. I believe this is a malfunction in their system related to origina.
Driving on 35mph limit road. Vehicle began to stutter. Vehicle began to communicate warning lights - "pksb malfunction" and "hybrid system malfunction" and "check engine" and alerted to visit dealer. After stopping at red-light, received warning to pull over and stop driving. Vehicle could not exceed ~10mph no matter how much accelerator was depressed and received warning that vehicle had ~2. 5 miles until it would cease being able to be driven. For rest of trip to home (approximately 2 miles), vehicle would alternate between 10mph limited state and returning to full acceleration which led to very unsafe driving conditions and abrupt changes in speed. Reached home and parked in drive way. After a few hours, returned to vehicle to take to dealer for service. All 3 error messages remained but no further limitation to 10mph or abrupt speed changes. Dropped off for service at dealership. Dealer notes: "hybrid system malfunction, check engine light - scan for codes, found u010087 loss of communication between pcw and ecm / clear codes, update system, operating as designed. " upon receipt from dealer, no further issues and drove home safely. Vehicle is a 2019 Toyota Rav4 hybrid limited, bought new in Jan. 2020. Approximately 23000 miles, no previous issues. Has been maintained regularly (oil changes, etc. Via Toyota care).
Michelin latitude tour hp I-225/65r17 I am writing to you in order to let you know that I bought this used Toyota Rav4 2018 with 28,000 miles. I was told that the tires were new. One of the tires was not new and had already been fixed before, certainly not in a safe way. I just want you to know and report it to Toyota, I would have appreciated them if they had told me the truth since in that car I ride my daughters. Happy afternoon.
The Toyota Rav4 was heading east on I-10 freeway near sky harbor airport arizona. A sudden pop sound with steering problem followed. . . Luckily it was 11pm (11/27/2018) and no cars around, and able to quickly and safely driving the Rav4 to the shoulder of freeway. Roadside assistance (pre-paid program) dispatched a technician to replace defective front passenger-side tire with spare tire.

Takata recall; while attempting to back out of a drive way, the accelerator stuck causing the car to hit a bush and a house. After recovering and attempting again, the car accelerator stuck a second time causing the car to hit another bush.
