I was ran off the road by another driver on March 8, 2024. I honked so that they would know I was there and then swerved as they continued to come towards me. As this happened, I lost control of my vehicle and it fishtailed on the highway, doing a complete 180° and going from 70 mph to 0 mph as I crashed into a concrete barrier on the shoulder of the road. The airbags did not deploy. My car will likely be totaled and because of its age, we will not keep it. It will not be available for inspection. My safety was put as risk because my airbags did not deploy. Thankfully, in this instance, I was not harmed but I could’ve been. The problem was not confirmed by the dealer. The vehicle was inspected by police and is currently undergoing inspection by insurance. There were no warning signs of this failure.

i bought a honda accord lx 2000 in 2004 with 46 k on it. shortly thereafter the srs light came on. i was at the dealership to inquire why it was on. they told me it was because my airbag might not deploy in the case of an accident. not able to bear the expense of repair, i have driven it as is & the current mileage is almost 87,000. *tr
the srs light on the dashboard on my 2002 honda accord coupe v6 has been on for a few years now, and it never goes off. a friend of mine, who used to work for honda as a mechanic, told me when that light comes on the airbag is disengaged, so if i get in an accident the airbags will not deploy. *tr
