the engine oil and tyre pressure just come out and appear in the screen after service all the things just come out.
This problem started about Two(2) month ago, consisting of surging and hesitation when pushing the gas pedal about 40 to 60%. This problem is very annoying when driving, because the problem consisting of surging and hesitation when pushing the gas pedal about 40 to 60%. This problem is very annoying when driving, because the car hesitates and surges making me very nervous to jump out into traffic. Cars at the dealer now, and I'm very surprised that my Lexus is in the shop unexpectedly. I have always purchased Lexus and I've never had a problem or a unexpected trip to the service department. I'm starting to wonder if I made a mistake by purchasing the four-cylinder turbo charged engine. I'm totally hoping not, and I hope this is my only problem throughout the remainder of the lease.
The GPS has very minimal maps for Canada. I mentioned this to the Lexus rep at the car show in Toronto shortly after buying the car. He suggested that the lexus was built for people in california so they did not bother purchasing good maps for Canada. I then asked my local Lexus dealer for a solution. He suggested I buy an updated data disc for approx. $350. I asked if it could navigate in Sarnia ON. He did not know. I then asked if I could bring it back if it did not have the maps for Sarnia. He said I could not. Does the term "pig in a poke" or "catch22" come to mind? Needless to say I used my window mounted GPS for navigation. Many people ask why I have two GPS units in my car. The look of shock and disbelief is priceless when I explain it to them. They just cannot believe any company could be so distainfull of it's own reputation to produce something like that and then rub it in the face of their customers. It is a good story and I enjoy telling it. It almost makes up for the inconvenience.
While driving, especially at cold temperatures, the dash would make a great deal of noise. I tried to find where the rattle was coming from, but had no luck. When I brought the car in for service, I had them look at the dash. They told me they insulated the area with something Lexus had to resolve the problem. The rattle is not as bad, but it still is not gone either. Wish there was a way to not have the dash rattle all winter long.
For you to be a luxury car dealer but not fix something that you create for the safety of your customers as well as others on the road is like leaving a baby in a tub full of water, expecting it to swim. I know this isn't the first complaint about the dark streaks in the rearview mirror, you know its illegal to drive without one yet you expect us to pay anywhere from 1400.00-1700.00 dollars to replace a very essential component to aid in the safety of your customers and others. I fell in love with this car the very first time I saw it at the auto show in Washington and have been a fan ever since - but for you to not fix this issue is very concerning and I will probably not be buying another. Just do the right thing and fix it, please.
When the jerking first occurred I thought it was the drive axles, replaced the driverside axle and the problem wasn't fixed. I checked the internet for more information about this problem and other owners had similar issues with their transmission. Lexus supposes to stand for quality and they should recall these vehicles. My concern is a safety issue if the transmission locks-up during driving.
I used to love LEXUS cars...but after this transmission problem that seems to be common in the 06 GS300 I HATE LEXUS!!!! Dealer wants to replace the transmission, $4000. I read on line that OBD Code P2757. "P2757 Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit Performance or Stuck Off " It is common on this cars, many times replacing the transmission doesn't solve the problem. Some other dealer suggested replacing the ECU $1400. But no warranties that will solve the issue. SO WHO KNOWS????? HELP PLEASE!!!!
I have a 2006 Lexus GS 300 that's having a transmission problem:1. (2) bumps when stopping in low gear the first one is slight the second one is a noticible jerk.2. Slight bump in when shifting to 3 gear!Lexus wants to replace the transmission but I've seen a few complaints with the (almost) exact same issue so I'm begging any any all 2006 Lexus gs300 owners to call me at 661 380 0646. No I'm not replacing the epu or the solenoid cause it's a Lexus problem if I can find enough people with the same problem. CALL ME...Larry
I keep my oil changed on time all the time, I never really get to drive this car much. I have an es300 I drive everyday, anyway I drive the car in question to my moms house which about a 120 mile round trip. On my way home the oil light comes on, I pulled off the highway and checked the oil and it was low. I had to put two quarts in just to be back at the right level. So I wanted to see the rate I was losing between oil changes, turns out I am burning a quart of oil every 500 miles which is insane for me. I have no leaks, no smoke, no discolored oil or antifreeze. There is no recall on this which is wild to me considering I have seen thousands of post on this issue and still no recall??????!!!!!!!! I don't know what to do at all and the only people that can help (LEXUS CORP) wont help. I have own 6 Lexus's and there will not be a 7th not after this. Its sad when a Corporation is doing well as Lexus finds loop holes in there own polices to avoid being responsible for there engineering mistakes just flat out sad. Then have the nerve to want to call there self superior on all levels of the car industry.
This vehicle burns oil extremely fast in between oil changes. I used to go to the Lexus dealership for oil changes but this got to be a bit costly. I either changed the oil myself or went to a discount oil service bay to save money. I later heard that this model of Lexus vehicle burned oil because of bad rings. Lexus put out a fix for the problem but as a mechanical problem. If you didn't complain to them about it and they checked it you never got to have them fix it because it is a costly mechanical issue. It would be too many cars they would have to work on.
