severe droning vibrations coming from the exhaust when driving at 1500rpm @ 30mph and 60mph. can be easily repeated at the aforementioned speeds. problem has been identified by dealer, but dealer does not have a fix for 2022 rx350 model. problem appeared while taking the suv home after delivery.
when driving, the car engine will randomly accelerate or race. the car does not physically go faster, but the engine revs at a high speed which is very scary. it will continue to accelerate while your foot is off the gas until you either press back down the gas pedal or come to a full stop. the car engine revs extremely loud making the driver feel like the car is going to keep going. i have had the car for 15 months and it continues to get worse. i have taken the car 3 times to the lexus in freehold nj when i first bought it to fix this issue. they were able to replicate it in my car but said the tests came back normal and told me this was a "normal reaction" due to the car being a hybrid. the diagnosis was that it was the battery discharging. i wrote to lexus and the regional service manager, but they have all dismissed me. i filed a complaint with lexus, but they also dismissed it. i just went on the lexus forum site to find many people are now complaining about this issue. what is very interesting is that lexus has now put out an "unintended acceleration (ua) form which asks questions about this issue. lexus knows about this major issue but has yet to do anything about it. the other day i approached a few kids playing in the road and started to slow down only to have the car loudly accelerate/rev as i was approaching the children. very unnerving...something definitely is wrong and needs to be addressed. i was hoping you could help since the manufacturer refused to.

Lexus app for android and gps not working properly in my 2022 Lexus Rx350. I have immediately complained to my Lexus dealer - bobby rahal Lexus and Lexus corp in plano, TX as well. No use, I had paid a huge sum and dealer also charged me several fees.
the vehicle hesitates off a full stop such as at a red light. the automatic start stop feature is turned off manually, but car hesitates off the stop creating an unsafe condition if making a left turn where there is no left traffic arrow turn signal and cars are coming in the opposite direction or when entering a moving lane. the hesitation is enough to prevent you from entering or crossing moving traffic unless you wait for all traffic to be gone. this only happens when it is hot outside. when it is cool and air temperature is lower this does not occur and the car operates as normal. has happened since new and dealer cannot look into it because there are no failure codes appearing on the car's system.
i was driving down a highway when the sunroof of my vehicle exploded. there were no cars in close proximity, so no rocks or anything were kicked up and could’ve hit the vehicle. it caused glass to fly in my face as i was driving and cut me as well as my autistic son who was in the backseat. a rep at the lexus dealership said it’s not the first time he’s heard of this happening. there are numerous posts online about the same thing happening to drivers. temperature change couldn’t have been a factor because it was a cool 80° summer day.
Vehicle was parked with transmission in park and emergency brake engaged. While unattended the vehicle started moving forward slowly, I (the driver) jumped into front seat to apply the foot brake and pedal went to floor (no brakes!) vehicle could not be stopped and ran in to the wall of my garage.
Premature transmission failure> replaced transmission Feb 06 still not shifting after 3 tries serviced the trans - miracle fix? may 06 dirty fluid reported by another shop. Lexus solution service again within 4,500 miles of the trans replacement. No further action taken.
Contact stated that she was driving on I-495 @ a speed of 60 mph on a sunny day. Her tires blew out on her this was on the right passenger side. The entire tire came off the rim. The car had to be towed to the dealer where a new tire was purchase. The old tire was left at the dealer. She need to know why her tires just blew out her. Will someone call her to find out what can prevent this from happening again.
Transmission whinning noise at start, and slipping once warmed up. Dealer says the transmission front pump needs replaced, quoted $4247 for Lexus remamufactured transmission replacement.
