Without warning, both sideview mirrors, plus the blindspot warning system began to not work. Mirror adjustments failed to work on both sides and also the blindspot warning light stopped working when a vehicle would pass. I proceeded to take my vehicle to regal Nissan, inc. , located at 1090 holcomb bridge road, roswell, georgia 30076, 770-998-8686 on December 19, 2023 at approximately 2:00pm, and was told by the service advisor, deandre gaines that they would not be able to look at it as the day was almost over and he scheduled an appointment for December 20, 2023 at 9:00am. Today, December 20, 2023, I attended my appointment arriving approximately 9:09am and spoke with deandre gaines. He told me that they would do a diagnostic check to find out what was causing this. I asked if the diagnostic check would be just for my arm rest where the control was or did he mean for the whole car, and he said no not the whole car only the arm rest, and he never stated the price. I told him that I would wait on the car, and proceeded to their customer waiting room. Once they were done, they tell me that the cost would be $175. 88!!! I asked for what??? he tells me that because I have 39,747 miles and it is outside the the 36,000 mile warranty that this is what it cost for a diagnostic. I said, you never said the price!!! I had no idea that it would cost this much just for you to tell me this. He strong-armed me on the price. I then asked to speak to his manager (which I did not get his name) and the manager then said the same thing. I was so frustrated at how I strong-armed on this price. Deandre never stated the price. This is border line exhortation. He took my freedom away as a georgia consumer by giving the price after the fact and not telling me the price before hand. This would not have been an issue if he had told me the price beforehand, as I would have had the choice to say yes or no. If additional documentation is needed, please let me know. The contact owns a 2019 Nissan Altima. The contact stated while driving at 70 mph, the vehicle lane sensor activated on its own and pulled the vehicle towards the right lane where the driver was going towards the oncoming vehicle. The driver was able to force the vehicle back to the center lane and continue to drive to their destination, however, the failure reoccurred multiple times. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer who inspected the vehicle and removed the lane sensor electronic feature from the vehicle. The manufacture was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 11,000.
The heating seat is not working, and the locking system within all doors is failing. Also, lane departure and steering assist is not aligning properly.
I was entering a parking space when the car suddenly accelerated causing me to drive over the parking curb and into a shrub. I was pulling slowly into the space and the car just lurched forward, I quickly hit the brake. Fortunately I was not hurt and there was no damage to the underside of the car.
The front door locks on our Nissan Altima will not operate with the keyless fob. This locking failure happens all the time when the vehicle is parked or whether in motion. I have had the battery tested and it's ok. This isn't the first time this has happened. The rear driver side failed to operate in the same manor and I had to have the our local Nissan dealership make the repair a couple of years ago. I'm not sure if this is a door actuator problem or some other electrical problem. I know after researching this online many other people are experiencing the same thing. My wife drives this vehicle more than me and I feel this could be a safety issue if she needs to unlock the car in a hurry. I believe this should be considered a recall because it does involve personal safety.
The crankshaft or camshaft sensor has went out which causes it to stall or immediately die, which is a safety hazard yes the check engine light was on.
the owners and or sellers of this dangerous and life threatening vehicle that was sold to me knowing that the car was in extremely bad condition. these criminals sold me the vehicle knowing that it was not smog cleared or approved. they sold me a fatal accident waiting to o happen! they intentionally modified the odometer/mileage to 85k/95k... but when i ran a check on car fax, it clearly showed that this vehicle was 206,851 miles of wear and tear to engine. the break system almost killed me on the freeway and made me lose control and forcefully made me spin out of driving control for 3 full spins in the middle of the freeway, bu the grace of god, i missed all incoming traffic.
the trunk will not open with the lever inside or with the fob. this occurred when the car was staionary and without warning.
in 2001 i purchased a nissan altima. it left me stranded on numerous occasions. i could be running errands and right in the middle of my errands the vehicle wouldn't start. i would call a tow truck and once it made it to the nissan dealer it would start right up (i thought it was an electrical problem). i contacted nissan in december of 2001 regarding this problem and they "could not duplicate" it and wouldn't do anything to help me out. i left it at my dealer for weeks on 2 separate occasions. since nissan would do nothing to help me out and i live in minnesota where being stranded in cold weather could kill you, i had to trade it off. then the other day i say an article that they had recalled all these vehicles for the same problem that i had. so i contacted them again and they told me my vehicle was not included in the recall. i have no idea how they designate what gets recalled and what doesn't, but it has the same problem as the other 2.56 million vehicles. *la
vehicle lost speed from 65 mph to 20 mph , and all the gauges on the dashboard shut down, but the engine was still running. vehicle then went to 0 after about 20 secs. all gauges went dead. battery light brake light and airbag light come on. intermittently prior to this other electrical accessories would begin to malfunction heat/air blowers, wipers, lights dimming, etc. alternator checks good, battery replaced. runs for a couple days then does it again. malfuction is not limited to high speed to low. has happened at varying speeds.*ak
