Once again, the 2016 4Runner engine light turned on, and we were told rodents feasted all over. That is twice in less than 1yr. in a half. This issue will not stop, until we stop purchasing from a business who doesn't care about our safety or best interest.

entertainment system freezes or shuts downThis has happened on several occasions. I plan on telling them about it when I take it in for the next oil change. Last time, it rebooted and came back on. Other times, I've had to pull over, turn vehicle off, and restart.

The problem was reported to the dealer since i bought the vehicle (June 2012). They say it is normal, but since Iam driving (have had more than 10 cars and is the first time with this kind of problem. I think the RPMS are to low but Iam not sure.

Frame of 4runner is almost completely rusted off, I was told that there is a recall on frame. It is a sfty issue.

we have a 2008 toyota 4runner sport. when going from reverse to drive the vehicle does not always go into drive. you press the gas and nothing happens. you then have to put the vehicle back into neutral and then into drive to be able to move the vehicle. took to the dealer numerous times and they said it was "normal". this is a major safety issue as if we are backing up onto a road or anywhere by that means and we have to spend the extra time putting the vehicle back into neutral and then into drive it waste valuable time. this issue does not occur all the time, but approx 70% of the time. we do not know what else to do. *tr

had a tire blowout on a newly purchased 2006,, toyota 4runner with michelin cross terrain tires, p265/65-17r with 400 total miles on the vehicle. blowout was from tread to bead with no signs of impact dammage. purchased replacement tire. old tire not available - pictures are available. *ak

when my 2006 toyota 4runner is running or when acceleration a rotten egg smell comes from the catalytic converter. i have taken the vehicle in and the dealer claims there is nothing they can do. i have never had this problem on any other vehicles i have owned. *nm

2002 4runner was unstable after purchase, consumer had tires replaced and an alignment. front and rear tires blew out. consumer received letter of front suspension ball joints after accident occurred. *ts *jb
